I kept wondering if there really were grocery stores like we have. Families in the country definitely each had their own gardens and animals for most of their food. And the souks in Marrakesh had most of the food items you’d buy. I didn’t see anything like a Costco! Moroccans would be taking pictures of our Super Targets and Walmarts probably.
