  1. Having just returned from Italy, I understand why it’s getting some votes, though wondering where the people voting for California currently live? All in all though, not too many playing the game. No one else dreaming of a sabbatical?

  2. California? That one surprised me too. I chose New Zealand because it has always been intriguing to me. No real reason and no facts–I love the accent and want to visit some day.

I’d be happy to eat and drink my way through Italy for a few months as well.

    Hi Caroline!

So fun to hear from you here! I would love to visit New Zealand someday!

  3. I just read Jim the options and he picked New Zealand, too! I couldn’t pick just one — Italy, New Zealand and Thailand were my top 3! I’ve never been to Spain, but I am living vicariously through your adventure. Hope to also get there one day soon!

  4. I guess you could say we have “been there, done that” when Scott was 5, Steve was 2 and Susan was still part of God’s plan for us! Living in France in 1971-72 was a wonderful experience; we enjoyed touring the countryside on weekends and also had opportunities to visit other nearby European countries. We have been fortunate to travel the world the past 38 years and, of all the countries we have visited, I would vote to spend more time in Australia…..not necessarily for it’s culinary delights, but to have plenty of time to see that country’s diverse and vast landscapes.
